1. Double Cleanse Every Evening

The double cleanse method — an oil-based cleanser followed by a water-based one — is the single most effective change you can make to your skincare routine. The first cleanse removes makeup, SPF, and surface pollution. The second cleanse removes any remaining impurities and prepares your skin to absorb treatment products.

2. Apply SPF Every Single Day

UV damage is responsible for up to 90% of visible skin ageing. An SPF 30–50 broad-spectrum sunscreen applied as the final step of your morning routine is non-negotiable — even on cloudy days, and even if you work indoors. UV rays penetrate glass.

3. Hydrate From Within

Drinking at least 1.5–2 litres of water daily has a direct and measurable impact on skin plumpness, clarity, and elasticity. Add a slice of lemon for its gentle brightening effect and vitamin C content.

4. Never Sleep in Your Makeup

Sleeping in makeup — even mineral makeup — clogs pores, disrupts the skin’s natural overnight repair cycle, and dramatically accelerates the appearance of fine lines. Make cleansing before bed an absolute rule.

5. Introduce a Weekly Exfoliation

Gentle chemical exfoliation with AHAs (like glycolic or lactic acid) once or twice a week removes the build-up of dead skin cells that make skin look dull and uneven. Avoid physical scrubs, which can cause micro-tears in the skin.
